“Itay Noy, a young artist of exceptional promise, was awarded the Andy Prize for his innovative and unique contemporary craft works, which are both conceptually exciting and superbly executed. His clocks and watches tell both clock time and cultural time with perfect precision: they are fine, functional instruments, but they also tell us a lot about time and how we experience it now. These thought provoking creations are exemplary and are bound to stimulate discourse in their field.”
